My son prepared a pheasant today at school and then made it into a pie. Loverly, but he wouldn't eat it. :whako:

I kinda expected the announcement by now for tomorrow evening. Assuming there is one…
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

If its an "in day" one, there should be a message quite early, otherwise Saturday (prefer not) is possible or later next week.

Really cold and no wind here today, gas is at 25GW coal at 1.34GW - dirtiest power have seen in ages, does that increase your chances of an in day saver session today ?

Its white over with a very thick frost here so the primary heating is going to be lit (WBS) when we get back from dropping the kids at school.

Fingers crossed and good luck for you exporters, I'm just hoping to fill my stack from Sol again today :D

Morning Tinbum, how's lovely Zummerzet today ?

I have no idea about these things as I don't have a smart meter but isn't there a chance of the requirement for this evening ? do they have a minimum notification period that applies or can they literally spring something on you with an hour to go ?

They (national grid) normally seem to publish a possibility notice about 8am and then another notice at 9am.

nothing so far today so i dont think their will be one.

The loss of load probability (LoLP) which is the probability of losing enough generating capacity to fulfil the forecast load was much higher last night compared with tonight. And as Tinbum says we should have heard by now for an "in day event".

Its manana, for now.

Mid next week 16th, 17th or 18th look the next best candidates.
