Your "max charge voltage" and "max protection voltage" look OK (but only when running with a BMS folks), but I would increase your "full charge voltage" to at least the "max charge voltage", I have mine set slightly above the "max charge voltage" but below the "max protection voltage".

thanks for the crib sheet info
i will check that against mine
for some reason the max charge voltage on my inverters only go to 55v
i was thinking it was possibly because im on the default battery setting

also on my inverter settings my max charge is 52amps and my max discharge is 55amps
should these readings be the same ie 52 and 52 or 55 and 55
please advise

I only use my unit in dumb mode without CT clamps as a supplementary battery charger and a forced discharger.

I have both my change and discharge set to 60A, I think it goes higher to 65A but the heatsink starts getting a bit warm.

These depend on your batteries spec.

The JK bms I was referring to was this one;

I'd strongly advise going with something that is connected with coms to the inverter.

For example your question above- really that is dependant also on temperature. As you have it now the inverter has no idea if the batteries are cold and you should be limiting the charge and discharge currents. You can get away with that if they are in a warm house but if they are in the garage or a shed then you need caution.

As Tinbum says, a BMS with comms to the inverter is preferred but the JK BMS you have can do that with an adaptor board in the middle.

You can purchase a stupidly overpriced and now closed source board, but I've built two boards myself that do the same job for a lot less.
I can see if I have the parts to assemble one for you if it's something you're interested in.

He has got two battery banks wired in parallel on each inverter.

Would the inverter software be able to communicate with both B.M.S. Systems at the same time.

As I requested at the beginning of this thread we need a diagram.

If it's 2 banks in parallel on a single inverter then yes the bms on each bank will communicate with each other fine and then communicate with a single inverter.

It's only complicated if both inverters communicate to a single shared battery bank.

I did put a diagram on page 1
And the batteries go to each inverter on that diagram
I will do another with the batteries added as well on each inverter if it's easier

It makes a big difference as to how the batteries are connected. Some will have the batteries common to both inverters others not.

It very hard to give advice until the full system is known, hence all the questions.

I do think we've a good idea now but it doesn't help with the ID fault. :( That seems very strange.
