Tis nothing, will only get worried when one of the chimney pots bounces down the roof, took 90 mph for that to happen last time. Only 60 currently.

Not yet, maybe tomorrow or Tuesday. :xx:

Hope your missing panel turned up not too damaged. :?

It's a handy "extreme conditions" test for my brand new panels... the scaffolding is still up so if there are any problems it will be quicker to sort out - not that I expect it not to survive, it looks a good robust install. (famous last words!)
(I'm trusting that the scaffolding survives!)
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

I now have some CCTV footage of my parcel box doing the 100M dash, intact and undamaged on the footage but found this morning in pieces some 30M away. Can't complain.

Looks like no record today and I've just found that there is a big failure on Hornsea 1 Offshore windfarm, I presume one of the links is down so we are circa 700MW down.

That will make breaking the current wind record very tough.

Finally back on the grid and ramping up power (173MW presently) I wonder why it took so long from spinning up the pumps and blowers ? Might be worth watching in case it suddenly drops off the grid again due to underlying issues.

It has been ramping up very very slowly! Been watching the last few days. Same with Torness.

It’s really odd as they normally go critical and then ramp up to fifty percent then hold there for a few days to allow the xenon and other reactor poisons to decay / scrub out then up to full or optimum load.
