Blue sky and strong wind up here. IO offering lunchtime charging!

A small 1.3kW incoming from PV (shading) but it's enough to make me feel like a minor solar god again.

How's it down on the South coast?

Even got to Bongo open and Spring airing. For two bob I'd drive away today!

Still significant shading on my system till mid Feb but a nice 4kW+ coming in. I'm having to force export 4kW to keep my Victron Charge Controller in business because the home battery is full. I would have previously dumped the excess power to a house load in the past but at 15p / kWh export its more cost effective to export.

My gas meter isn’t smart - was too far away from the electricity meter which acts as the comms hub, so no signal

I notice nuclear is slowly creeping back up again - and both units at Harlepool should be up online again in the next week or so...

The end of coal gen at Ratcliffe is getting closer. The mound of coal is much smaller now.

It sort of makes the point that you need to keep FF in the ground because once its been extracted its going to get burned one way or another. Like we might not really need to use that power station again until the day it closes but you know its going to be cheaper to burn that coal rather than deal with it some other way.
