Are we to assume that future SS won’t be 1630-1830 on a weekday?

I’m really disappointed at how reluctant they are to use SS for real when conditions are right. We’ve literally had one single-solitary real SS.

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

I'm assuming the opposite, as In-Day sessions are very unlikely to be for the morning peak, so more likely to be for the 1630-1830 peak on a weekday. I think the different scenarios is more to do with how much notice you get for the In-Day session or whether its a staggered session (different timeslots for different participants).

Might be time to change to the power-up sessions instead if there is nothing much more to do. You can't be enrolled in power ups and saving sessions at the same time. Scotland is only half price Power-ups unlike the east of England which is £0 per kWh. Seems odd to me given how much we produce up here.

There will still be 5 test sessions between now and end of March.

Will tomorrows wind generation be low enough for a session.
Normally I would say no, but we are running out of January with only a single test session so far. :xx:

I'm not sure I will bother with another session (unless for the minute chance of a bonus :FP: ) as I've not been credited for my export on the last 2 sessions. Octopus say they haven't got my export readings despite it showing on the dashboard, I've emailed them screenshots and am awaiting a reply.

Now showing a non zero (albeit very low) probability of loss of generating capacity tomorrow peaking at 6pm. :xx:
A 5pm to 6pm Saving Session slot would be optimal.

Maybe the staff don't come in early enough on a Monday.
Another bite of the cherry tomorrow 30th Jan, less need but still in the zone for a test session and last plausible day in Jan. :xx:
Wednesday 31st the wind is honking so I think we can rule that day out.

Now that I have a smart meter and am signed up for Octopoints I noticed this on their page
Follow our WhatsApp Channel to hear about Surprise Sessions. These are Sessions (often with higher rewards) where we won't have enough notice to invite you via email or app. Find out more.
Get the Octopus app and turn on notifications to hear about all other Saving Sessions.
Yet another social-media type bribe - i.e. freebie for those on the inside? It reinforces my annoyance about the extent of "digital exclusion"
