Maybe this is common with new export customers.Stinsy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:36 am [I too am stuck in “transactions on your account are being manually reviewed” limbo. I’ve emailed Octopus but to-date no reply.

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
Monstrous PV generation today at Nowty Towers, a PB for 2024.
23kWh including the DC coupled system.
It happens every winter.

Needs a speech bubble: "WAKE UP, you sceptics!"
I got 2 kWhr off my west-facing roof today... (very) early days!
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

I have to request my export each month since I signed up, and do a manual reading and email it to them.nowty wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 11:51 amMaybe this is common with new export customers.Stinsy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:36 am [I too am stuck in “transactions on your account are being manually reviewed” limbo. But it gets processed, and credited, the same day.

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
Its that green crap again.
Middle of winter in an electrically heated house and my IOG cheapslot to peak ratio is 99.96%, I think my best ever ratio.
Also in that same period,
Add on the export credit and the bill is £164.
Add on £46 for the Saving Sessions Octopoints and the bill is £118.
Add on my FITs and the rest of the bill is wiped out.
The Ripple rebate of £400+ buys more green crap.
Not quite net negative in kWh though , but next year with Ripple Kirk Hill and maybe Derril Water adding in, I think I will be net negative in kWh.
Not only on a yearly basis but also in the depths of winter.

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
1kWh of peak electric all month?
I’m happy if I’m below 1kWh per day!

LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
My normal was about 7kWh per month peak but now I have the export tariff, no problem setting the inverter to let 20W constantly trickle out to the grid as I'll be paid for it.
