There are two things I suspect:

1) I think my inverter is slower to react than some other models. Coupled with my induction hob, boiling water tap, and other devices that are a bit on-off, means I’m importing smidges of peak electric here and there that add up.

2) My 3.6kW inverter and high baseload (5-600W generally and 1kW when the HP is chugging away) means that I’m going over my inverter capacity more often than I would with a 5kW inverter.

I’m not really bothered though. I manage to consume a gargantuan amount of energy for a silly-low price. Long may IOG’s excessive and inexplicable generosity continue.

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Mostly cloudy today but a few short lived sunny peaks of near 9kW.

Add on another 1.5kW of DC coupled generation and we are over 10kW coming in. :xx:

Add on the 2kW coming in on the Ripple GF wind turbine via the Octopus PPA and its over 12kW.

Sad day here at Nowty Towers. :cat-tear:

Afraid the vet had to put the cat to sleep this afternoon as we had run out of options with her ever distending colon.

Its been a difficult few weeks since the last vet visit with special diet, medications and TLC, but they were mostly good days. It became evident a couple of weeks ago that this was unlikely to end well. She was still sleeping peacefully on my bed last night and had a ravenous appetite last night but an early morning visit to the litter tray, left her in distress and an urgent vet visit which I knew was highly likely to end one way.

One of the last pictures of her whilst she seemed to be on the mend.

Sorry to hear your news Nowty
Clearly a well loved member of the family, take comfort that she will have known how loved she was right to the very end.
As 'guardians' of our furry friends, throughout their lives, that is all they realy want from us and it sounds like she had it provided by the bucketload.
