Simple Pleasures

End of the month, so I was doing my rounds taking all the various meter readings. I was checking my water meter (under the floor) fed from my water harvesting system which sucks water from an underground river into a 500 litre tank. It then is pumped via a pressure pump for flushing the toilets and watering the garden.

Reading was 355,550 litres saved off my water bill in a little under 8 years.

But as luck would have it, SWMBO was on the loo, so just had to wait until I heard the pressure pump kick in and have my camera ready. :geek:

The water bill savings have just about paid back for the original expense of fitting the tank, pumps and plumbing.
