End of an era for Volvo. Let's hope this continues with other manufacturers soon.

Yep great match. Plus Sweden is transitioning fast to BEV's (and PHEV's), so makes a lot of sense.

Throwaway factoid, but Chinese sales (internal) are getting close to 50% PEV's (BEV's + PHEV's). They could/should reach 50% in one of the later months this year, maybe even reach 50% for the year.

Imagine what it will do to oil demand when a country the size of China gets to a high penetration of new car sales being electrified imminently... Peak consumption really can't be more than a few years off, and it will be interesting to see what happens when the sustained downtrend begins.

... Just as long as they don't have to thrash their FF power stations to supply the demand!
