So does this mean in the worse case scenario of being pulled back to 3.68 or whatever that I can re apply? Hopefully the "rooftop revolution" will improve things as the idea is to get more generation in the south?
Several on here have successfully done their own G99 application and installation. You may need to limit it to 3.68kW export but as I am showing on another thread, I am exporting at 3kW 24 hours a day presently, so it does not necessarily handicap you.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated

I am paying for an installation and the g99 is part of that. I wont be spending much on batteries, rather investing in an oversized array to start with, therefore ecport durimg the summer is top priority to justify the expense.

Sorry, I'm confusing you with NoraBatty who already has bought a ton of batteries.

Nowty has answered this but the amount you can export is likely calculated on the ability of your substation to take the input without an expensive upgrade, so if all your neighbours have solar panels you are more likely to be limited than if no one other than you has them.

What I meant to convey was that when I requested an extra 2kW they did not account for the fact I already had the 3.68kW from my fit and 3kW from my ac coupled battery =6.68kW but they only allowed for the existing FIT 3.68 and the extra 2kW so 5.68 was on the form. Given that on my best days, like today, I only produce 22-25kWh it is very unlikely I would export more than 3.68

My peak export was 3.27kW today at 15:25 briefly today.
