The day has been kind to me. Sun is shining. We are seeing 35.5V and a combined 23A off of the Womble 4 and into the Hoymiles HMS 1000 2T. That's at 11.30hrs so there is room for growth. 816W.
We did see 12.5A the other day on the HMS 400, if that repeats on the twin channels we'll be up around the 900W mark. Good to know especially on a secondhand Womble system that on its best new day would produce 980W?
Waiting on the field service plug and i'll fit that to the Now destined to be Turkish Unit (HMS 400)
At the production rate seen (816W) this latest balcony system will earn 12.25p per hour. On its very best May day it might actually make a quid. How good is that?
Cost to date for 1kW PV system.
4 of 245W panels £160
100 mtr roll 4mm DC cable £48

I am left with a Enphase IQ7 micro, 80mtrs of DC cable and a couple of MC4's. I'll keep an eye out for a used 250W panel up this way and stick it up on the lower woodstore. If all this Micro inverter shenanigans has taught my anything it's that its better to have second hand gear producing than laying about in someone's garden doing nothing.
