Even more than that, liking the option of monthly export count in cash.
Might clear £200 in first full month of export. Around £90 of that goes into VB and the rest pays fully for home & EV running in August.
I was 26p short of that in June, must try harder!
Iain, I'm like an exuberant child. I'm probably beating my batteries to death! In saying that I've learned to slide about the discharge rate and I do try to stay about 80% max discharge.
It's quite intuitive and enjoyable being linked at some level more than normal to the local .

My batteries are having an easy time of it just now but will get worked a bit harder once I finish rerouting the mains supply via the Victron inverters.

I've just beaten last months export with 1.8 MWh and still a whole day to go.
Nicely done! I have yesterday's count and today to go. Should be just under 1.4MWh exported here, about £90 to VB once all paid for home & EV charging.
Just seen first V of geese go over and small condensation on inside of bedroom window. Arrrggghhh!

I'm pretty sure If the 5th August hadn't been unlogged we'd have cracked 1.4MWh.
Very happy with this for a first full month export. After costs we made £91 and ran the home & EV for free. Cheers Nowty, took a while but I got there.
P.S August profit of £91 exceeds what i'd have made under deemed export for the full year. Bearing in mind that I squeaked through the door for FIT in the last 6 months of its open operation.
This is better!
How'd you guys do?

This month 1 kWh short of 1.5MWh's. June was best to date at 1.513.
Being new to this exporting and constant cycling of batteries lark then I've set them to a conservative 3 hours/day, circa 50% of charge capacity both for storage batts and EV. Took a bit of sorting in the early days as batts and EV were liable to swap energy rather than send to it's intended destination but got there in the end.
Now that Kirk Hill is up and running I'm keen to see how many months our clean energy generation total tops consumption. While on an annual basis we are already ahead the darker months take some covering so perhaps have to wait until Whitelaw Brae comes on board!
Good fun isn't it.
Pretty good at Nowty towers, just over 1.8 MWh exported in Aug, even after all my leccy import costs of £60 its still over £215 in the VB ready for winter. That will turn into over 3 MWh on the cheapslot come January, which in turn will convert to about 10 MWh of heat once its gone through the heatpumps.
