On the way to the airport we met up with SWMBO's niece and nephew in New Jersey, lovely house but no solar although they were thinking about it. For some reason the economics don't stack up as well in the USA. It was only a short visit so I could not go into the economic detail but I got the impression that the installers charge an extortionate price.
Their neighbour has some Solar PV, but says its uneconomic.
18.7kW PV > 111MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 34MWh generated

When we were in California last August, there were adverts everywhere advertising free power walls and solar.
Didn’t go into the figures bit I assume they work out free based on the returns they’ll make….

There is going to be a Nowty EV Euro trip in the near future.
I bought all this crap, then found the TM3 already had most of it all in the frunk from new, not a great start.
Looks like I'm not going to make it to my first destination on a single charge.
I've edited some letters out of the destination but I will be providing info on each charging stop along the way.
Me thinks the TM3 is a bit optimistic on the journey time.

If it was me I'd be heading to Lugano...
Feck sake Fintray, I know you probably guessed I’m going to see daughter in Switzerland but you got the place in one. :shock
Never crossed my mind, just had a search through European place names and found a few with those letters in sequence, tried Lugano for distance and it came up trumps though I thought it was in Italy!
