It appears the MIL has only just got a Smart Meter so she could not have enrolled previously.

That's probably the reason, they have not joined the dots yet to see they can now get 30 minute readings. Worth having a push on her behalf now though to save her money and the grid paying for more stationary turbines.
She will have to look on her Octopus account and click on the Free Electricity Electric Eel if its showing.

Free power and not having to worry about having excess solar to deal with, currently 136W being generated!

Aiming for an all time record, with Sunday dinner on, washing, tumble dryer, battery charging + electric shower (teenager😜) - hoping it doesn't trip the house fuse😝

IOG cheapslot engaged for extra payback and 22kW+ coming in. :twisted:
It has been shown by others in previous sessions that you get charged the cheap rate but you get the peak rate credit. ;)

That is interesting. I always switch off smart charging during these "power hours" because I don't want the car charging at 7.4kW while Octopus are monitoring it.
