We chatted about this at the time, (did you catch the cabs windscreen detail)? 😉 "crazy" ..a nickname, "unsound" just like his load.
Wonder if they brought that up in court?
I cannot think that £386 in court fees & fines was it in its entirety ..surely!? Not for a dangerous load that should never have been.

The cars occupants were very, very lucky.

£386? Surely that is a mistake?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Unfortunately that sort of thing is the norm for motoring offences, even though it is the reckless use of a lethal weapon that mainly impacts other more vulnerable road users.
Every time I cycle past concrete blocks in the gutter on a roundabout a shiver goes down my spine... Happens quite often.

I still have the "Crazy" (in the drivers cab) still picture. If the driver was injured or killed the penalty outcome would have been much worse.
It could also be that the load was secured but some other mechanical fault (like a belt buckle breaking) contributed to the event.

18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 520 m3

He's lucky his Tesla cameras were working ..This scenario highlights what I said in another thread about faulty operating systems & the world's most camera filled car brand, hype & expectation that can place you in a predicament because the footage either didn't record or disappeared!

...happening to us right here, right now.
