Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

I didn't read the Gruniad article. However all things being equal, an EV should last as long as an ICEV if nopt longer. And when the ICEV is done the battery should still be going!

I wonder what the limitations on the lifespan of an EV are? Maybe corrosion on chassis/suspension components? Maybe just plain obsolescence (newer, faster, better range, more efficient, EVs are available)?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Corrosion looking at my MG5. All the paint came off the sills. Underside is looking pretty orange as well.
