January generation 2025

49.7 kWh here, vs 44 predicted. A nice surprise as the month has been one of the coldest we can remember, and I didn't realise it had been "so" sunny!

[edit: 11.0 kWh/kWp]

53kWh from the west and 23kWh from the south absolutely brilliant figures for us in January!

64 kWh from a South facing steep angled steading roof.
Surprisingly covered with snow for 10 days of Jan.
New mono-perc panels, new inverter with dual MPPT, thicker wiring and silver soldered where possible.

Previous years setup using older panels and higher voltage single string was 44kWh.

Over 10kWh yesterday

This last few weeks the sun has been rising higher, earlier and longer than expected in Aberdeenshire. Good days ahead.
3kW FIT Solar
0.8kW balcony solar.
2,372 W of turbine at Whitelaw Brae
6kw Panasonic air to air heat pump for downstairs.
2 WBS. Stovax 8kw and 5kw Morso squirrel
Rointe D series in 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
Aiming to go fully electric....

Nowty Towers Power Station
Main 4kW PV system generated 127 kWh which is smack on baseline, quite surprised as its been cloudy as sh1te most of the time.
Total PV arrays generated 317 kWh.

Electric Import was 2203 kWh.
Gas import was 23 kWh.
Out of house EV charging was 81 kWh.
Petrol used in EV hybrid was 0 kWh.
Total imported energy use 2307 kWh

Solar PV / Battery electric export was 826 kWh.
Ripple GF wind farm generated 740 kWh.
Ripple KH wind farm generated 620 kWh.
Total energy offset 2186 kWh.

Net energy import/export (this month) for Nowty Towers 121 kWh.

Net Energy Import/export (cumulative this year 2025) for Nowty Towers 121 kWh.

But I guarantee Feb WILL be better. :xx:
18.7kW PV > 110MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 30MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
