Joe, I don't want to spoil your holiday but it looks as though your heat pump isn't missing the touch of your guiding hand on its controls!

That is a really nice chart! Low-and-slow, no cycling, high CoP!
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Temps are creeping up back home. We were over 6 for a cop when we came back in from the dive. This is this morning. 8-)

6deg air temp, 0.3HC & 1 DHW cycle for 90 mins to 65deg.

Dive school.beckons, see ya! :D

SCOP is slowly pulling itself up.

Is that DHW and heating combined for the SCOP? I've got my combined DHW and heating at about 3.6 for the year using the GSHP

EDIT:
3.75 for as far back as my data goes.

Also you had a lot of data errors due to air in the system prior to 27th January, if you take the cop since then it is 4.59 so will only get better as the temperature (hopefully) improves. :xx:

Yep, not that it's a competition. I'm 3.49 over the same period. It interesting how the GSHP and ASHP performance at temperatures is opposite. The GSHP will perform better in extreme cold but for example at the moment the ASHP significantly out performs the GSHP. It will be very interesting to see your data after a year is out. One day my HP will die and then I need to decide if I will stick in another GSHP or convert to an ASHP. With technological improvements it sounds like ASHP might be an easier option.
