Opted in, but we'll be cooking dinner, but I'll export whatever is spare, not having a late dinner for mere pennies.

PS. In total I exported 38 kWh, and generated 32 yesterday..

I got 95p yesterday which isn't bad what with how things have been going. However baseline is much lower today.

I really need to do some rinsing!
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

£2.45 here on yesterdays SS with a rinsed baseline.

Yesterday was a complicated export affair with 3 separate export periods, I'm just over a pound in profit for the day. :xx:
Import Cost 107 x £0.07 = £7.49
Standing Charge £0.62
Export rebate 45 x £0.15 = £6.75
Saving Session £2.45
--------------------------
Profit £1.09

18.7kW PV > 111MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 34MWh generated
7 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
90kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 530 m3

I'm similar!

I have 3x cycles a day, 2x forced export sessions for the 15p, plus the SS, plus covering my usage while the car isn't charging.

I'm limited by my 3.6kW inverter though.

The complication is trying to use as little power as possible while the forced export is happening and during the SS. We've had a sunny day today so I've been trying to use as little as possible while the sun shone to maximise export.

I'm sure things used to be simpler before the 15p export!

Here is my stats fro yesterday:

Import: 94kWh @ 7p = £6.58
SC: £0.62
Export: 17kWh @ 15p = £2.55
SS: 7.4kWh @ 13p = £0.96

TOTAL COST £3.69
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

I have no idea (intended). I've got £140 left in the VB and I'm relying on the ascension of the sun combined with my Zeuslike (I wish) control of the export grid to squeak me through to June where I'll see a few bucks in from fan 1 & 2.

Of course, the real trick is that they (the fans) start charging the VB at start of March, it's already a done deal, run ongoing. Nonetheless, player, player, playing for the £140...

Now THAT, is delayed gratification. :D

This bit is fun.

April 2022 is our D/D low, low starting month. You all probably know we mostly disconnected (tiny bits & D/D) from gas about then too. I tell ye what though. Without the fans at Ripple and now Octopus we wouldn't have that clean 3 yr off grid feeling. Sure, we're not running a stream hydro ( more is the pity) but on the in/out basis we are neutral to positively buoyant. :xl:

I hope you girls & guys are similar or feeling good about your own gains?

My gas and electric has been negative two years running, and with the addition of more panels last September, that is only set to improve, and of course in April gas is going.

Yesterday's stats:

SolarEdge: 12.5 kWh
Garage: 8.71 kWh
North west roof: 5.36 kWh
House rear wall: 5.32 kWh
Peak power was 6.10 kW at 11:52

Total generated yesterday: 31.89 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 38.51 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 30.78 kWh

Octopus Watch tells my my electric cost was -£3.02, add in the 57p from yesterdays SS and thats -£3.59.

Just realised that I set my export for 1730 to 1830 yesterday, so only half the benefit and a worse bench :head-bang: mark for a week or two.

Duh :surrender: :head-bang:

I slightly screwed up too and forgot to set IOG charging for an hour whilst I was charging in advance of the SS.

Octopus 16.6p / kWh bid was rejected.

Bids of 13p or less were accepted.
