It is very nice indeed to be back into Spring generation.
I have generated 22.5kWh so far and exported 30.7kWh of that. 🤪
I have generated over 68kWh and have so far exported 60kWh with the batteries currently at 70% SOC. :xx:
My batteries are spent. Luckily I've gamed some additional cheapslots to tide me over 'till 2330. Will probably have exported 40kWh by the time the day is done! Hopefully will have gotten £6is for exporting and paid £4ish for importing (plus SC). Not a bad day!

yeah it sure does, just walked the puppy and its glorious out, solar gain is so good that the hp tumble dryer is already on doing some of the kids weekend laundry - washer went on in the 5 hour vanilla slot.

Much better than yesterday which was like a January day with very low insolation levels here.

Yeah... yesterday was a stinker here too. Worst day since install (not much of a sample size like... Only 12 days )

It will get quite addictive checking the daily figures and wondering where you can squeeze in some more / bigger panels etc. days like this are the best though early season and the promise of excess production to be made use of, some export at a profit some (like me) use it and limit their consumption from the grid - I'm looking forward to the annual game of how many days can I stay completely of the grid import.

Similar here low sun but easily catching 745Watts off the small panels on the south of the cottage.

It’s quiet now as the dogs are sleeping off the walk, kids are on their way to school and the rug rat has gone around to the annex to see nanny

Lovely

Looks great where you are Moxi.... I feel the need to go on a mountain hike now!

I was going to wait a while before filling the roof with panels (££££) but I feel I could reduce electricity bill to £0 at worst and make a slight profit at best.

Will have to have a think about it... I wanted to try sort insulating the house first before getting anymore solar. But it is tempting!

Shame the DNO stopped me getting the 12KW inverter. It has 3 trackers on it, so that would have been enough to get all the arrays I planned to put on the roof(s). Would have to buy another inverter now as the two trackers on this 8.8kw would not be enough. Unsure whether DNO would allow me to add another inverter though seen as they stopped me getting the 12kw in the first place.

Add a solar charge controller to the dc side of things where your battery will sit. No need for an extra inverter.
