High winds & sunshine today, a cracker of a day. The 24hr window is first full day without big rectangular holes in building. Great to see single digit kWh's on HP.

First time I've enjoyed seeing condensation on a window. :D

(It is on the outer pane).

Swmbo has returned from Edinburgh, had a couple of meltdowns at the windows not being finished and the door being wrong, said she hates the glazing bars then announced its too hot this morning we'll have to adjust the ashp.

This is all par for the course, doesn't cope well with change does Mrs swmbo! Back on song today and we'll order a test powered blind for our bedroom.

A nice way to end the month too. 45.7kWh exported yesterday closing out a 0.8MWh export month. :xl:

It really is nice to have an in-your-face demonstration of how 3G is better than 2G. I like the idea of powered blinds, you could do something smart with them to block sun in summer and allow it in in winter. Have a look at Shelly for blind controllers.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Thanks Stinsy, we went for two blackout blinds to trial on the Southfacing bedroom dormers from blinds2go. Twist & go no screw installation, motorised and we bought a 16ch controller too which will be preprogrammed for those two blinds or phone app control. £350 for the pair incl delivery.

We are also trying out the EV topping up the stack today. It is working well. A diy V2G set up indeed. Seems a long time since the Nissan Leaf V2G clunk onto wall V2G!

Will charge the EV tonight at 7.4kW.
This potential scenario is why we cancelled the Tesla model Y. Finally it happened! 8-)

Edit
Exporting at 6.6kW and can't get the stack down below 54% what with all the solar and the EV. Now I know how much PV I can add on the vanport. 2kW max until I upgrade the hybrid inverter to 5kW.

Further edit
The stack soc is now creeping up. Will have to adjust charging times. Not used to doing that this early in the year. Also to get used to is utilising dhw boost function on the ashp when the weather is good. I reckon I'll be swinging dhw fully round to mid morning soon enough. Nice to see the 8kW 24hr consumption on the ashp. Pretty damn amazing actually.

Test over, all good.

Couldn't resist, EV V2H/G test back on!

It would be nice to crack 50kWh export today. 17.40hrs and 2.4kW still incoming from the big engine upstairs. Once swmbo returns from shops I'll leave the EV alone, i dont think we'll need it again today.

As Stinsy said, it's all Interlinked now and multiplier driven here at Casa De. Completeing the circuit with the EV battery capacity to draw on is truly an excellent multiplier. Goal this year is to make a tenner a day via export. Not consistently but on the basis of when we fancy it. Losses there and back etc to be taken into account. Nonetheless, 8-)

Yeah loads of cold air comes from the bay and the windows... Uninsulated roof on bay window too. It's one of the worst spots in the house. Will be first on the list to things to tackle
