All the best with the upgrades! :xl:

I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product.

They get a bit of a kicking on the review sites but plenty positivity too. We used them for manual blinds which lasted for years. These electrics though. :D

For bedrooms I'm supplying a 15ch remote control for each one (only two often occupied). Or you can add your son to the app account and he can control through his phone?

Currently in George St Edinburgh, back to Fife tomorrow need to measure up for kingspan, plaster board and will wait until plastering has been done incase it affects width.

Parent meeting at school next week to let us finally know what’s going on with the trip, schools these days like to send info to kids not parents so will maybe get his Xbox and other essentials moved to the old living room we don’t use and he can occupy that space while the works proceed

Worth a trip to Bar Napoli for the pasta if you're there. If it's you and wife the Rigatonni siciliana and pizza between 2 is outstanding.

Got my 30 2x2 slabs today so lying in bed with solar powered E blanket repairing back muscles. An absolute god send! While here I am admiring the no chain, no brackets simplicity of the blind design. An added bonus as I bought due to sheer laziness in not wanting to work the chain twice a day or fiddle about with brackets. :D

Two week turnaround on the blinds from placing order. An insane amount of material choice but well worth taking your time over that. We then settled on the most neutral magnolia of deeply uninteresting we could find but we did learn a lot about materials we don't like before finding Mr Mag.

We had dinner here yesterday, not to far from where we used to live 20+ years ago, will keep the other place in mind as we do try to get through without the kids twice a year!
