If I have reserved 900 watts, does anyone know if have to buy 900 watts or could I buy, say, 800 watts?

Yes,
You can buy as little as £25 if you want.
Or none at all and roll over the voucher to the next project.

I reserved a place for twenty five quid and got the email about the reserved sales and we also reserved a place for our parents next door so I’m assuming we get access to the early offer.

I don’t have WT1 options so WT2 will be our first foray in to this. Both we and the parents use lpg for some heating and cooking which we would like to switch to electric and eventually at least one of my cars will be changed for a BEV plus another baby on the way so I’m keen to offset as much as I’m legitimately entitled to and our current base load electric isn’t really a sensible indication of future use ?

And if you log into your Ripple account do you see this under "My Wind Farm",

Nowty, are we conflating gift vouchers and £25 reservations here? I didn't reply to your question because although I'm not part of WT1, I didn't buy a voucher either. I did however put down the £25 reservation payment for WT2, so received the email as copied above.

I didn't realise you could buy a reservation payment for WT2 if you were not in WT1.

In that case the watts could go pretty quick if you want more than the pre-allocated provisional 900w.

What’s the MW size of WT1 ? A quick 900x 3700 reservations noted in the email suggests 3.33MW has been reserved ? And there’s mention of new partners etc ??

WT1 is 2.5MW.

We don't know how big WT2 is but we know its multiple turbines and a hint that each turbine is larger.

So based on that there’s maybe one turbine fully funded so scope for extra watts if you’re quick during the public sale.

I believe you can buy more than 900w before the public sale if you have paid the reservation fee so its possible to become fully funded before the public sale. But not everyone will take up their 900w, but they cannot be released until the public sale, so there will be at least a few watts left over to go to the public sale.
