Decent brand, all s/steel body for five of your english pounds.
Big difference.

& as an aside, that big old thermos along with another "good brand" i've lost 2 x plastic tops to heat degradation, the thermos one is thin as pish hollow & £4.50 for a just as pish replacement, the other was 20+ years old & plastic degradation to an acceptable level.

This is why I like solid siggs, the plastic is better (not perfect, better)

Not that you have our hard water problem, but vinegar / limescale deposit clean ups in plastic kettles seems to take way longer than in S/steel
