Happy to report my first 3 days of using no electricity from the grid.

Currently trying to get onto outgoing agile to make use of this excess at 60p a unit!

My previous neighbour used to work for a company that ended up with lots of pallets, took them home and we processed them for our woodstoves, can't let them go to waste! :)

Loving ❤️ these dual battery solar charged chainsaws. Light as a plastic toy and silent in operation. One charge (2 x 3AH batteries) went through all this, 11" dia max log size. :D

Looks tasty JB - woke to overcast drizzle here not as the weather forecast said sunny blue sky - looks Lillie it could improve later.

Despite this the cottage is sufficiently warm that the boss has declined a fire so we are fifty fifty grid / solar for now.

Kids are away to school too so it’s a quiet morning working for the business.

Enjoy your breakfast JB

That was last 🌙 dinner! Hopefully it will clear for you. We have a cracking 5 day forecast. How did the infrared heater work out? Bear in mind that'll be a big old stone battery to energise.
