Totally! With the boiler running switch off-and-on-again its FCU. I'd guess it'd be happy with anything under a second or two. The changeover contactor will be in the region of 0.1-0.2s!
I don't think they are anywhere near as fast as that. Their is a setting in the inverter but I'm think the min is more than that.

I've just checked my ME3000SP and the changeover time is adjustable, the default is 5 secs and the shortest time is 1 sec.
