The dome section is only 5mm from the horizontal plane Mr G and the flanges are scaled to approximately 15 m wide so it should sit across the aluminium trim on the panel without inhibiting the insolation

robl wrote: Sun Feb 12, 2023 9:08 am Anybody any experience with bifacial panels? I think they let through more light, between cells. How to fix them(they are glass edged, no metal surround), how to keep water from dripping between panels? Are there any kits or designs out there for this kind of thing?
There’s lots of space for a south facing lean to pergola at my sisters, but it should let through some light, not be totally dark under. Her house roof is very complex, so PV on it would be awkward.
This is what we are planning. Just need to work out the fixing arrangements
So, if this is the case are you doing an "extra tall" exposed pergola compared to standard? ..with white gravel or similar for additional light & energy grabbing?

Driving home this afternoon I noticed this

https://goo.gl/maps/EUERGYeVjPhFSSpn7

The panels are set into the roof from what I can see.

When I rigged up my new set I fitted them so they should be weatherproof if I added sides.

EO?

Eo have been around a while, indian in origin, cannot remember, lots of questionable google list "positioning" by so called review sites (top10 bollocks)
there if you do a basic search, small box design, no idea about overall reliability, but surprised viridian have rebadged a pre existing design as viridian were /are not cheap

A bad film Captain EO, & a questionable man-child.

The restriction of not being able to place it within 300 metres of a school / nursery / playground / sports centre is a no from me!
