I agree but a bad installation is as bad due to condensation as a bad product. As a coincidence an Edinburgh live news story popped up today on my feed on an Edinburgh couple had the same mortgage problem as my mate over in NI.

There doesn't appear to be a path to redress in either case. :(

I remember back in the day that this was a silver bullet product (CWI) and its been tainted by cowboy installers. Then the added insult of having to fork out to have it removed come time to sell home? 🙄 That's hard....

My mate in NI was doing it for all the right moral reasons plus pragmatism of course. I'd probably have done it at my own home (CWI) but will stick with the remedial insulation work already done over the years. Sad really as I do believe in the mantra insulate, insulate, insulate.
