I have 80% of my allowance in Kirk Hill and was aiming to put the remaining 40% (up to the allowed 120%) in the solar park but having just received the email with the option to up my buy in of Kirk hill, I'm now debating whether to spread the investment or just max out on wind.
Unless your at the very top of the waiting list, you will be waiting a very long time, probably forever, so I would go with the Solar farm. The released shares are only from a few individuals who could not keep up their monthly payments so had to withdraw from the CoOp.

If however you get lucky and are offered another slug of KH before the Solar farm offer opens, I'd be inclined to max out on KH as its cheaper, faster payback and is also part way through construction with no obvious problems.

Nowty Towers has on average been net zero for the past week due to GF generation and I'm currently on a 3 day zero grid streak.

Thanks Nowty, have joined the waiting list on the off chance I get to add a bit but otherwise I'll be on the solar farm.

The first rebate of the new higher rate for GF is in the account, along with my final tranche of the saving sessions.

VB now at 116% SOC.

How many megawatts is that at the cheap rate? :D
I've just asked for a 40% reduction in the state of my VB.

IO cheapslot is 10p / kWh so the maths is easy.

11.65 MWh in the VB. 8-)
