Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

There is always that risk sending your cash to anyone.

Energy4all is a similar company to Ripple in that they help Coop companies raise funds and manage their projects.

There are some slight differences,

Returns are paid as dividends from the Coop's, as opposed to credits on your energy bill so you can spread your investments with SWMBO to reduce tax burdens.

Coops start themselves up locally and apply to Energy4all to raise and manage their projects, whereas Ripple buy up ready to run projects and set up a single (non local) Coop for each project.

Energy4all has been going a lot longer than Ripple and have many more successful projects running.

Several on here bought into a hydro scheme through them that is now running (I kick myself for not investing).

There will be another interesting project soon for the re-powering of an existing wind turbine in Northern Ireland.

I'll have a crack at the NI WT refurb when it comes up, cheers!
Looks like that NI WT re-powering is getting nearer as the date has recently been updated from Autumn 2023 which never happened to March 2024. :xl:
