I really would strongly recomend that you get communication set up between the inverter and battery and then you wouldn't have these problems of incompatible settings.

I am a contributor to an open source project that enables CAN communication between a JK BMS and many inverter models.

Nice, I think the BMS can have CAN already on it if requested at the time of ordering. I use the JK PB BMS with canbus, I connect directly to the master of two Sunny Islands and the Sunny Island takes its lead from the BMS. No alarms or warnings recorded in 120 days since first connection. Other than SOC drift there are no issues, did not even top balance the cells before connection to the BMS, let the JK 2A active balancer do it thing for 8 hours and it was balanced..

Hi all
have been checking the inverters for a couple of weeks now since i changed the settings on the bms's
had no problems
charging is absolutely fine
learning a bit more as time goes by
