Don't forget to switch things off in 9 minutes!
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,

Re: Octopus Free Power Hours
Lesson learned, must turn off discharge side before stack charge timing will kick in!
Hopefully a one time only mistake. HWT & SH's ran up fine at distance.

Don't forget to re-programme your battery inverters back to normal like I frequently do.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated

Re: Octopus Free Power Hours
I've done that, cheers! Felt like a right tit!
Weather's been honking up with us all day then suddenly I'm seeing 9kW+ incoming across the PV systems!
Makes up for my earlier error. Although not the beamer.
See ye for next one, hopefully be better prepared. SWMBO was well into it. Had to explain about the 24kW limit (which I don't hit) for the 100A fuse. She has really got into this! Haven't told her I ersed up the stack charge though.

Weather is still honking here, 1.4kWh for the whole day so far at least mid winter should yield more solar

Forgot to charge car last night, so needed 6-8am boost to get me to work

Re: Octopus Free Power Hours
Were you already a member of Octoplus (rewards programme) ?, if not you were not included in this first free power hour.
I got an email reminder just under an hour before.

Re: Octopus Free Power Hours
Yesterdays free power hour here was 19.557 kWh.
My import baseline should be zero, so if export is not taken into account I should receive a credit of 19.557 x 23.71 = £4.63
If export is being included in the baseline, thus giving me a negative baseline then the credit is likely to be nearer £6

Re: Octopus Free Power Hours
My use was 13.22kwh baseline would have averaged 400w as I had to charge an EV during a previous 1-2pm slot.
I did get a cheeky off peak slot just in case, it didn’t work as I hadn’t seen the octopus email saying I was in to the session, and it would have been peak use….
So let’s see what the credit is….
I am normally exporting between 1-2pm ( approx 4kwh)but I can’t see the baseline being negative for the purposes of this trial.
