It will be interesting on Tuesday peak time as there will be practically no wind and colder, especially in Europe.
Guaranteed to be another Octopus Energy saving session, maybe be a full on multiple hour affair too. :?

In fact Monday to Wednesday the wind is forecast to be very low.

Cold and soaked in less than thirty seconds.
@Moxi, Is it still a bit windy in your neck of the woods ?

Sorry I’m late replying but yes it was, we were to the right of the big red arrow and under the arrow pointing towards the Wirral lol I really should get a micro turbine for the windy days and excitement of wondering if it will survive!

& they say wind turbine blades are dangerous! ..presumably that was really a semi open livestock stable on a skid for field / grazing purposes, which may go some way to its disintegration subjected to such a close up (unusual) battering.

The same tornado hitting the Marwell Zoo entrance.

Just shows you can easily be in the wrong place at the wrong time, even in this country. :?

MiL lives in Swanmore, Nowty.

They had the same weather system/episode :o

Must admit, when we lived in Southampton, we had far more Thunderstorms compared to the two era’s we’ve lived in the West Country.

We were in the Test Valley, so in my naivety, I imagined weather travelling up from France, across the Island, up Southampton Water and on to the Test Valley.

Don’t think we managed a tornado while were there, though.

I've noticed that Biomass seems to be running a little low at the moment just when we need power.

Also I am surprised that there is no Savings Sessions tomorrow (Sunday), but it seems we are importing to make up the difference. Maybe Europe is not quite as short of gas as we think.
