That was some of the most chilled EV driving I've done. Set off Tuesday morning from Inverurie to Glasgow. Stopped at Perth Broxden for a top up, into Glasgow then over to Edinburgh. Car sat for two days then today back to Inverurie with 20 miles range to spare.

100 miles into the car since returning purely from live solar and depletion of the home stack betting that tomorrow will top up the homestack again..

4.2 miles per kWh on that run.

Met a nice fella with a model S at Perth, fancies an Ioniq 5 for his wife. Its great to see the enthusiasm in other EV owners. :D

Trying out a couple of candle lit Arabesque type lamp units in the cabin tonight. The heat belting out of the top.of the RH unit is extraordinary in comparison to my expectations.

Away back down to Edinburgh. Stopped at 75kW chargers in Dundee. Paid with Octopus card. Absolutely effortless and loving the pitsop cafe across the road for a filled roll and coffee.

Chargers are at
DD2 3PT
Kingsway farm.

Didn’t know about those chargers and that’s my local b&Q in the background.

Got the octopus card last week, not used it though, may take it for a trial the next time I’m over in Dundee.

In Arnold Clark for warranty work on the fluted lower panel fixings. Getting it back Sat morning on our return to base. It hit me that the little spot charge we did this morning in Dundee was almost the exact amount generated yesterday at Graig Fatha. That's likely to be the coolest thing I write this year. :D

The Ioniq loan car itself is an excellent car. 👌 Saw the Ioniq 6 in the flesh for the first time yesterday. Doesn't do it for me

saw this https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attractio ... scany.html on TV recently...
A fantastic idea for Barga with its links to Scotland, this little immaculately kept phone box originating from the UK and actually made in Scotland by Carron is now a well used tiny library.
You can take books there which are no longer needed and you can pick one or two up as well.
It was given to the people of Barga by an Italian Family living in Edinburgh who enjoyed coming to the area on holiday.
Sounds a nice place to go!

The combo of decent rate of charge, well maintained chargers, Octopus Universe card & Graig Fatha is as good as it gets.

Apart from Model S and lifetime free charging of course!
