We now have a medical emergency on board and the off loading of the patient failed at sea. So we are now up the river to Lisbon to offload the patient.

The irony is our Lisbon visit was cancelled because of a river pilots strike. It seems the river police are taking up the role in this instance.

Pity you can’t get off - Lisbon’s not too bad.

Eventful trip back, Nowty.

Still the Bay of Biscay to go

Going to be out of range again as person has been offloaded and we are heading back out to sea. Last night was eventful too as suddenly heard a “Emergency Boat Muster Station” alert.

It turned out the bridge saw a small craft with people in it very close to the boat in the dark. So the ship did a very slow turn around to check and readied a lifeboat but it had gone.

But gone where ? :?

I've seen them, generally to to the depths. Sorry, its how it goes.

Migrants in hally racket wee pieces of shit that you'd outstrip in a pedalo try to go continent to continent. It ends badly.

Fair play to the skipper on your ship for trying. 👏

Back in UK 🇬🇧, had our breakfast 🍳 and now just chilling until we get to our disembark time.

My online energy monitor is showing my GSHP is on and running off batteries. It should have been running since the beginning of the cheap slot last night and the storage heaters have been boosted too.

If we need any more heat I still have the A2A heat pumps to supplement when we get through the door. 👍

Back in Nowty Towers again, inside temp is 19.5 degrees after last nights storage heater boost and GSHP has been running for 14 hrs preheating the house. Also there is a nice 3kW coming in on the Solar.

Downstairs A2A heatpump now on for extra heat up and batteries at 65% SOC.

SWMBO has started a 50 degree wash and we are going to have a roast dinner tonight.

I thought earlier I might need a blast of gas central heating for the initial heat up but no need.

Don’t know what everyone’s PV is doing, but we managed a couple of hours over lunch in the garden and the sun felt warm on my face.

OK, I know it’s going to be grot for the rest of the week, but it’s so good to see/feel the sun.

Same here, just come in after nice sun (p.m. only on the front of the house unfortunately) but blue sky and robins singing while I sawed unwanted branches out of the apple trees.

I’m on location again but this time closer to home via the EV and charged from the sun ☀️.

The clue is a seaside place not far from an old castle on the south coast.

Swanage & Corfe castle, used to waterski down there & try not to get decapitated when my mate took over to tow me.

little pub on the front used to do "tenner for two" meals which suited us as 4 hungry, thirsty lads.
