Cheers, are you still getting the fault?
I can't see how you can get a battery over voltage when you have no other forms of charging and no communication.
Is the BMS app showing all is ok?

Hi all
I have two ME3000sp working as a pair as good as gold giving us 6kw of battery power when needed
this has worked for a while now with no issues after your help on setting up
but situations have changed
we lived in the house with the kids and grandkids so you can imagine we used a lot of electric
all was fine then, as we could control what appliance was turned on and when so not exceeding our 6kw max from two inverters
we have since moved into an annex now and its two separate properties but both on the same meter and mains cable
now not knowing what appliance is being used and when, we can easily go over the 6kw
so then i am paying to import electric which is not good
I have another ME3000sp as a spare and have purchased some more 43% off batteries from Fogstar
Does anyone know if this could be wired to the two units that are running at the moment
hoping it would give me 9kw usage possibly with no more outlay
I wanted to keep these inverters as they work well and if one unit stops for some reason i still have the others working
I would appreciate any ideas possible please

Without reading the who thread again I think you can. Just follow the same principle adding another extra ct (or2). I'd have to sit down and work it out and my brains not up to that at this very moment.

Nowty i have just purchased 16 cells yesterday and will be getting another 16 soon
that will make 96 cells in all
32 cells on each inverter if it can be wired up ok
the fogstar price has gone up now to £44.99 per cell for grade b

Does the mixing of 302ah and 315ah batteries on the same inverter not pose a problem if they are the same voltage, but managed with independent bms's?!
Ive always been of the school of thought mixing chemistries is a definative no no, and that mixing brands, different capacities and voltages is bad practice, and something to avoid.
Just wondering if all of this is old thinking now. Nowty you have a couple of different chemistries in your set up, JB has a mix of pylons and Eves, and Grumpy you are now adding different ah to the system.
Interested to hear what if any pitfalls exist, and how you mitigate, if at all.

Here's how I think a triple ME3000SP would be wired.

Theory of operation:
All three inverters are trying to reduce current in the meter tail CTs, but the secondary inverter is also trying to reduce the work that the tertiary inverter is doing. The primary inverter is trying to reduce the work that the secondary is doing.
This is just theory at this point. Feel free to send over two ME3000SPs and I'll get it tested in practice!
