I'm chasing info on the open energy system as the QR code supplied takes me to a page with no live data and I don't have account details..

When I ordered the OE monitor it I supplied them with my wifi details and if I remember correctly it all connected up automatically and started to upload the data.

That is good to know. Bartek fitted it and Robbie ordered. I'm sure it's just a password I need then an input of my network password I have a paper receipt with a user name on it. We'll get there! First run today with no slots so purely on the stack itself. House is getting there on the heatsoak. Now a heatcurve of 0.35 and we'll see how it goes. A new wrinkle in my checks. Looking to see outdoor temp each morning (-3 this morn). I've now seen the low temp performance (cop of 2.6) and looking forward to Sunday predicted 13degs.

In saying that, on a one day check. Today so far from midnight Cop is 2.4. I am very happy at that. It's not been above zero on that time period and it still does this (-3 now with -5 overnight). There's one defost cycle in there too.



We have in minus 7 days ran through 1.5 baskets of logs. Yesterday was about 0.5 baskets. We've started from a known state today of 1.0 baskets.

I can see clearly how the multiplier grows the PV impact exponentially (today's big word). It's great to know it but to see it in action is something else.

I guess that's defrost cycles? One since midnight last night so far today. Tbh, I haven't got a clue. I was messing about with settings for first couple of days as were the engineers.
See where we are tomorrow.

Your system will be working much better and smoother than this Joe. Better the unit do it properly than a fettler at the controls.

Its not as accurate as openenergymonitor, but its a good idea, that i am unable to pull from the midea itself without manual calcs and only for that snapshot in time.
The major gripe i have with heatpumps is that no one wants to give the customer their own data. Openenergymonitor is great, but the data is already available on the units themselves and it boils my blood they make you jump through hoops to get it.

I've tried to work through the instructions but have failed at line 1. Turning my wifi on and off and rescanning does not show a WiFi point marked emonpi.

This feels shoddy and it's about £600 shoddy...

Scanning the qr code on the emon pi blue box takes me to a blank my heatpump page. I'm sure it will be smashing once I access WiFi....
