When I have forced myself offgrid and switch off the grid isolator I definitely get zero to three decimal places on my smart meter history, i.e. 0.000

Maybe a rounding error from the previous half hour ?

This is how it looks when nothing at all connected, so shouldn't be any rounding errors..

Surely it must be using power to report what is or isn't being used. 1 watt every 3 or 4 hours...

My readings show 0.02kwh all the time I am off grid, when I get home in a few weeks I'm actually going to switch off the power from the meter to my inverter and see if it still reads something.
16 250w Trina panels
Voltronic Axpert Max 8Kw hybrid inverter
3 x Chinese 125Ah (19Kwh total) batteries
To be done, more panels and a wind turbine
Off Grid 20 out of 24hrs

Yes, but that power is taken from the unmetered side, directly from the incomer, before the current shunt in the meter, so doesn't get measured or recorded by the meter.
25 off 250W Perlight solar panels, installed 2014, with a 6kW PowerOne inverter, about 6,000kWh/year generated
6 off Pylontech US3000C batteries, with a Sofar ME3000SP inverter

Yes it says somewhere in the smart meter specs that the power to run the smart meter does not get added to the customers consumption.

Octopus seem to be taking their time producing results. :(

I read that there is a problem with Octopus getting all the data from the smart meter national data centre.

I wish they'd hurry up; I'd like to see if I have achieved any saving this time rather than my miserable failure to do so last time.
3.87kWp PV
10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.
MK2 PV router DHW diverter
Morso 5kW WBS
Vaillant AroTherm 10kW ASHP
