Say you use 10kWh between 5 and 6pm, that costs 30.5p x 10 = £3.05

The baseline is averaged over 10 days, so 10/10 = 1kW added to your baseline which pays an extra £4.00
What are the numbers if you cannot establish a positive baseline but could discharge at 2.5kW for the 90 minutes and do have an export tariff?
.
2.5kW x 1.5hrs x £4 = £15 or 12,000 Octopoints

40kWh Thermal storage

I have a friend who is on octopus go but exports with Scottish power.
He exported a it 5 kWH in yesterday’s session but I’m not sure he’ll get the 3200 octopoints for exporting a kWh in a saving sessions.
Does anyone have an idea?

Good news, as everyone that opts in will get a minimum of 100 Octopoints! :)
I just opted in and got 8 points - as i never use peak time leccy i assume that's all I'll get.
I saw that it said that everyone who opts in will have their points rounded up to 100 points if you earned less than that in the session.
Well I only got the 8 point for opting in :( maybe you have to save something to get the 100points? Difficult to do if you normally use 0.00kwh.

Edit: actually no, looking again i don't get any points at all for opting into the sessions.

300lt hot water tank and two storage heaters
ASHP Grant Aerona 3 10.5kw and UFH

The 100 point minimum is for opting in to the second and third session.

Hmm.
Ok - you could be right . I've just check my octoplus page again and on closer inspection there are two savings sessions showing dated march and february! The november saving sessions (which i did opt into) don't seem to be showing at all?!

I think maybe i should email octopus...

There have been no results for the second session yet, its a minimum reward underpin, not a bonus on top like last year.

There was no 100 minimum for the first session.

And another session coming today - 4:30 to 6pm - same £4 per kWh saved as the other day :D - hope that Wednesday's exports don't count as part of your 10 day average to work out what is 'normal usage'
Solar PV since July '22:
5.6kWp east/west facing
3.6kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter
2x 5.12kWh Sunsynk batteries
1.6kWp Hoymiles East/West facing PV on the man cave
Ripple DW 2kW
Ripple WB 200W
