Without location and installed capacity, those figures mean little. One farmer, I know, made a great deal more than that (in MWhours) - but his happens to be connected directly to the grid.

which reminds me of something I can't find online: are you entitled to a G99 export approval (which I believe is the case for G98)? Or can the DNO just say that the network won't be able to accept any more than your 3.6kW and refuse it?
If they can decline it, what is the mechanism for finding that out without planning a whole system and filling in the form?

Can you please explain what you mean by "his happens to be connected directly to the grid" as I expect most would be connected to the local DNO network?

You are typically (but not always) entitled to a G99 system approval with export limited to 3.68kW. G99 just means you have aggregate inverter power over 3.68kWp connected to the grid.

If you want to export more than 3.68kW, they can refuse or ask you to pay for reinforcements.

You can enquire to your DNO, some DNOs reply with an indication, some just ask you to apply, then either approve or refuse you.

Thanks for explaining that, I am frustrated by having enough available to export full bore through the evening peak but the inverter not being able to supply the house as well. So the next step is more pv plus another battery and inverter to maximise export plus feed the house. (We need a new roof anyway.)

Yesterday was a nowtyrecord 80kWh here (last one was 78kWh), would have been more but cloud at 4pm stopped play.

You won't be bragging about todays solar though, I've got little over 1kW coming in.

That Sunday was the best UK Solar day of the year at 10.7GWp peak (as opposed to yield), just 0.3GWp off the all time record on 20/04/23 at 11.0GWp.

It might even retrospectively beat the all time record as they sometimes get new data which shows more PV had been installed historically and they do a re-calculation.
