Have you had the AC on?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Wall sleeve is cemented up at a slight downwards incline towards the outside to prevent any rain or condensate flowing back towards the inside fan unit.

Beware that downward slope: I overdid it on mine (there is no suggested or max or min angle.) You will find the the indoor bit has no play for a heat exchanger not at a right angle to the fan and stuff, which is obviously screwed flush against the vertical wall.

Its 28 degrees outside now, but only 26 inside so I still don't need the aircon on yet, but in these conditions with full sun everyday, the house usually sneaks up a degree every day until, once over 28 inside it get difficult, even with a cooling fan.

Its not humid and there's a breeze so doesn't feel too hot.

it got to 27 degrees in the lounge last night so ran the aircon in cooling mode. First I put the temp on too low and it was a bit aggressive, so upped the desired temp and it throttled back and using only 500w was just right.

Also I've noticed from changing my TV, Freesat box and Soundbar to newer models, my background load has dropped by about 100W even though the TV is larger.

That's the way to do it. We run at about 400W in the evening if telly is on. The AC is a bit of a learning curve. We start at 22 degs on arrival in Turkey and by start of week 2 we will be at 25 degs.

This morning looked cloudy and breezy and lower temp so thought it would be ok today, but now its full sun, lounge 26 degrees and climbing again.

Power on export limiter again so I'm going to run the aircon all day and see how the lounge is this evening, especially the wall temps.

Cannot believe this, the manual tells you to do this, there is even a photo with an unspecified angle.

But when you screw the vent pipe into the wall fan unit (as AE-NMidlands says), it sits tight in a seal, no movement whatsoever and the angle I measured with a set square is a perfect 90 degrees. Even slacking the retaining screws a bit does nothing.

However, the whole thing flexes enough so you can screw the wall unit flush to the wall, but its under some tension so I'll have to slacken everything off to pull out the pipe for maintenance purposes. That's a bit carp.

Still sitting here writing this I am a little away from the aircon unit and its lush. Have set it to 23 degrees and its modulating up and down nicely from med to low so I've found the sweet spot of operation.
