Efixx video: smart charger govt regulations phase 1 onward

Quite interesting, HOWEVER I feel that under govt instruction via folk that don't know much about EV they will face a backlash but too late, mainly based on not being able to access the cheap hour tariffs that the public signed up for.. this pops up in the latter part of a bit of a scare tactic title (which I won't put in here)

There is an opt out (see video) BUT, seeing as folk are now having smart metering foisted upon them there is a definite element of perceived control, ...which will be raised as "yeah, they said smart chargers at home would be optional, now look what they are doing, what next" ..& you can understand folk getting pissy about missing a lump of 7kWh smart charging, even more so as 2+ price rises on energy in a year *cough*

The govt have not got a gilt edged reputation for truth now have they!?
