The cynic in me is thinking this is the Audi A2 Mk2 from 10 years ago re-launched

I saw that. Looks great! Like a car!

VW have EXTREMELY conservative timescales though. 2026/27 before you get yours.

VW REALLY needs to move quicker!

All this glass roofing, why not solar cells to top up the battery? ..yes even in the uk, sitting in the sun, put into the "presumably still carried" L.A./ small li bas ed bat for other gubbins.

The heat build up in pure glass has you cursing it out april-october, put the glass to use & cover it with a garage removable design that can be swapped out.
(I know the leaf solar aerofoil ? wasnt great but that was tiny) if cars are to have smart charging grid battery connectivity then it needs to be considered that there's likely 120 watts of low voltage feed to help with onboard occupant bits & pieces as well as slowing camera & sensor based drain.

When you consider a T3 can lose 3-5% battery per day from activations (or perma-slumbering & not logging but still using power in our instance) that could really assist with the losses incurred over a wekend, week, fortnight away.

Did joe have solar on his leaf? ..did he ever measure output in any manner?

Yes, it gave me a lot of hope, In terms of design, familiar styling, ..dashed by 3 odd years wait & the term "concept" ..bah.
Otherwise may tick a lot of boxes.

Dash still has two enormous screens and also a stupid high centre console - which seems to be common in a lot of car design. And whats with 20" wheels - ideal for our pothole strewn roads !!

They could have saved a lot of time and money and just made a RHD EX10 and we wouldn't have to wait until 2026...or 7...maybe 8

Too many screens, a cluttered dash the T3 gives great forward view perspective, & easier to clean 😉
I thought 20 inch wheels must have been SO wrong (for basic spec) ..crazy treads price there then, "oof" ..thats big tesla size, not polo prices, ...polo, you need to be minted 😣 when the rubber wears thin!

Just give us an EX10, which really you would have thought theyd at least trial it here.
Give one to jonny smith & lets see.
