Linking 2 x ME3000sp together

#1

Post by GRUMPY »

Hi
i have two ME3000sps and wanted to link them together so i can get 6kw of discharge from them as i do use a fair bit of electric
I have had one unit running now for a while with no problems on Lifepo4 batteries
but need the extra kw from another unit that i have sitting idle as a back up unit
i have 4 x16s battery packs giving 304 amps each at 48v
also 12kw of pv to charge the batteries and load the house
any advise how or if it could be done
many thanks

There is some info on this thread from a few months back about running two ME3000SP's in parallel,
https://camelot-forum.co.uk/phpBB3/view ... =14&t=2013
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

there is a chap on that page that has 2 me3000sp running together with a shared CT in series
if I could get a diagram of the CT wiring it would be handy
I will give this a go then
would I get 6kw of discharge this way
many thanks
