The rail company that only a year ago launched its first H2 train service is to abandon the whole concept and go for full electric.

" Result: battery trains are cheaper to operate" and don't (shouldn't, although some UK ones have correction, it was a diesel power unit fire) burst into flames or the fuelling points blow up... (see hydrogen buses!)

The sidebar is insightful, did anyone read the romanian piece?

Nice find dan, lots of short reads, most seem to show hydrogen sinking like a lead balloon, the failure to tender by numerous companies on more than one occasion maybe hints how wide the division between hype & reality is at this point.
