Wow this can only be good news, their genie points have never been in service whatever Morrisons I have visited. Potentially the route to reliable chargers at Caernarfon in the absence of joined up thinking from the council.

Morrisons forecourts to change
Re: Morrisons forecourts to change
Hopefully they put in a range of charges and not just 150's. 50kw would be a good match for an average 50-75kWh battery car and a 30-60min dwell time at a supermarket. 150's are a risk of being blocked and underutilized by someone doing a "big shop".

I try to use MFG on long trips rather than motorway service stations - they often have a petrol station with 6 or 8 chargers within a mile or less of a junction.
They always work and have never had to queue.
Downside is that they aren't cheap but given I don't use them often, happy to pay for the convenience.

I agree. I find the one at Walgrave less than a mile from J3 of the M6 very good. 8 chargers and rarely more than one other being use. I now use it in preference to Gridserve at MotoRugby where one often has to wait for a charger to come free.greentangerine wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 9:52 pm I try to use MFG on long trips rather than motorway service stations - they often have a petrol station with 6 or 8 chargers within a mile or less of a junction.
