My charger's bigger than your charger!

Goodness me - Liebherr has developed a quite colossal 6MW charging solution for its new 240 ton electric mining trucks allowing it to be recharged in just 30mins. This was supposed to be one of the last remaining "use cases" for H2FCEVs...

Truly phenomenal Dan. But don't tell Lord Bamford, he's still betting on HICE for JCB.

Another cool trick I've seen is a mine in Canada, that uses overhead pantograph charging on the BEV trucks, on a long climb. Fun to see the BEV's driving uphill twice as fast (24kph v's 12kph) as the diesel electric trucks. I guess the diesel engines generation is less than the peak power of the electric motors.
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.

Trying to my head around this, and I just...wow. and it looks like some of the vehicles are autonomous? It sounds like the charger would be in almost constant use.
