Free electric Xmas day?

#1

Post by Stinsy »

Do we know if Octopus are doing the free electric from 11am till 3pm on Xmas day again this year?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

I don't know if they will do it again, last year it was from 8:00am to midday at my house (just checked my bill to confirm).
I took this picture and sent it to Octopus Customer Services with the message "Happy Xmas, its Octopower Time"
I got a rebate of £6.50

Looks like were going to have to charge those batteries up overnight instead. :(

On the cheap rate, not the free rate. ;)
