No real way to know on the turnip, Its a fair bit away from the treeline. I am gobsmacked at what came down. 12 trees incl the holly's. They'll all be back up next year but i'll catch them early. I reckon about thirty more trees down the garden to get it into a place where there's more sun than shade throughout the day. A couple are about 70 foot so i'll need by big boy pants on for those.

it says postage was on the 26th, so 2 days from Germany (max). then nearly two weeks to sit on it, move it around the floor in Gatwick, kick it around a bit more, then claim to send a letter out last week..still has not arrived 5 days later.

I just want to play with Balcony Solar !!!

<sigh>
Looks like you've got a parcel No so should have a claim if it doesn't show up in a couple of weeks? It is worthwhile! Aye, the wait i mean.

Me n SWMBO are attacking the West side tree shading this morning which is currently restricting the afternoon production on Enphase powerhouse to about 19W! :(

I think we can improve on that slightly.
Quell surprise letter arrived dated 3rd October ^^ even worse than I thought, its taken 8 days to get a sodding letter to me.

One step closer !!

Oh, for those interested Customs stung me for £39 import duty.. then Parcel Force Worldwide rounded it it up to £51.64 to include their kicking it around the floor for a few days, then sit on delivery of the duty letter charges

Eick, my recently repositioned panels on the pergola are rocking a meaty 87W atm. Mind you its a rotten looking day outside on the south coast. Good for dog walking though if it doesnt rain.

They are only 2x 295w's (I choose them due to the size as opposed to generating capacity they are 1504x1002x30).

I reckon I've had significantly less than 0.30kw today, its been pretty grim.

Soon enough you'll have a powerhouse! Our Enphase powerhouse finally crossed the 1kWh mark! Massively shaded and its fueling me to cut a swathe through shade.

No1's Hoymiles powerhouse has sailed past 50kWh and to me that is meaningful and worthy of a beard stroke while going hmmmn. Although I have no beard.

Sun is dipped past a long distant treeline by 5pm now so I'm playing for next year and any minimal gains pre Winter.

The unit arrived today..!!

I'll now complain about the shocking Parcel Force Worldwide service, docs on the box confirm all the postage and interim stages and that they sat on it for almost a week before even generating the duty charges which then took another 8 days to get to me.

First thing I noticed was the weight of it, its a nice chunky bit of kit, feels better in the hand than the dodgy YVC or whatever they are called devices.

Alas, weather down on the south coast is atrocious with a measily 22-51w being generated for my batteries. As the weather is set to deteriorate into heavy rain and storms I'll defer the installation until the weekend then I can get the cables tidied up too.

FTB, are you able to assist with your installers account in possibly getting me setup pls? I sent you a PM recently but that was before I had the serial numbers or whatever you might need...thanks.
