Agree with you there dan_b, the best we've achieved since 2016 was 69.5 MW's in January this year, or about 1W /person of the population.dan_b wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 9:09 am https://www.pv-magazine.de/2023/04/20/p ... -megawatt/
That's an impressive solar roll-out pace!
1W per month , it will take approx 500 years for UK to match the average person on the secret list.Adokforme wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:24 amAgree with you there dan_b, the best we've achieved since 2016 was 69.5 MW's in January this year, or about 1W /person of the population.dan_b wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 9:09 am https://www.pv-magazine.de/2023/04/20/p ... -megawatt/

Admittedly Germany has a larger population but still equates to roughly 12W/person. With China and their massive population achieving 7W/person and Netherlands 18W/person it would seem we are lagging behind somewhat.
Meanwhile in the US.........
